Fujitsu Takamisawa and FCI
Ink Connector Agreement
Fujitsu Takamisawa Component Limited and FCI, Inc.
USA are joining forces to manufacturer and sell Fujitsu's high-speed, MicroGiGaCN
differential connector. The intent of the agreement is to help fuel industry development
of high-speed communications systems that require interconnects capable of maintaining
signal integrity at GHz transfer rates. FCI will be a fully-compatible, intermatable
second-source for the device.

The connector was recently adopted as InfiniBands'
standard I/O interface for 4x and 12x copper links. It is also currently being considered
as the standard interface for 10G Fibre Channel's copper link.
